Noor, our Rescue Turtle was Released after Recovery
You may remember that in April we rescued a young turtle who’d become badly tangled in plastic. We named her ‘Noor’ and took her to the Olive Ridley Project Turtle Rescue Centre in Baa Atoll where, sadly, she had to have one flipper amputated.
She’s made an excellent recovery and we’re happy to share the video of her release back into the wild. Here she is, making her first swim in the ocean with only three flippers. We think she looks fantastic in the water and wish her a long and peaceful life.
