A New Chapter Begins at Milaidhoo Island Maldives
A new chapter begins at Milaidhoo with the dawn of 2018, and we wish all our guests, past present and future, a joyous and successful New Year. We plan to post news throughout the coming year about Milaidhoo so that readers can enjoy our small island stories with us.
We celebrated the New Year in true Milaidhoo style, with our guests enjoying a gala dinner, live music and fireworks at our New Year’s Eve celebration by the beach and a festive brunch on 1st January.
We are delighted to have been awarded the prestigious Condé Nast Johansen’s Readers’ Award for 2018. In 2017, we were honoured to be acclaimed as The Indian Ocean’s Leading Luxury Resort by the World Travel Awards.
In December, Milaidhoo was further recognised as one of five runners-up for the title of The World’s Leading New Resort 2017, all within the very first year of our opening.
The winners of World Travel Awards are decided by votes from travel and tourism professionals, as well as business and leisure travel consumers worldwide, so we are very happy that they liked our story!
We are looking forward to further demonstrating the qualities that earned us the title of a Leading Luxury Resort to new and repeating guests during 2018.
